BRIE & BLEU NEWS
We strive to offer the best, naturally grown ingredients that are available. Your dinner will not roll off the back of a big silver truck that is double parked along Bank Street - delivering the same homogenized products to every restaurant and ginmill on the block.
Just like our wine, we will source the products with care and we will not serve something we have not tried ourselves. This is the evolution of the revolution that we started almost 5 years ago.

When you shop with us we try to get you as close to the producers as possible - they are the experts.
They don't make wine in a factory with huge quantities flowing through industrial pipes.
They produce their wine with great pride and in tiny amounts, working with their families and tradition side by side.
We work hard to offer wonderful, handmade products that reflect the place where they were made and the people that made them. The Experts.

There are some wines that have a magic to them - from the instant they touch your lips to the memories that linger for days after their consumption. These wines are more than the sum of their parts, as if someone added two and three and got six - they shine brighter and deeper than it seems possible for a simple splash of liquid in a glass. Beaucastel is one of these wines.

On Location In South Africa
with Winemaker
Rudiger Gretschel

Boekenhoutskloof
We met with Rudiger in the new tasting room of their spectacular vineyard in South Africa. Meet the new generation of winemaking, right here.
|
Boekenhoutskloof, founded in 1776, is far up the "Valley" in the Franschhoek foothills. Situated 40 minutes drive from Cape Town, South Africa, it falls within the Cape's abundant winelands.
Boekenhoutskloof produces four wine brands: Boekenhoutskloof, Chocolate Block, Wolftrap and Porcupine Ridge.
This face represents the next generation of winemaking. Meet him right here, on WineRadio.
